Impacto de la intervención del fisioterapeuta en fútbol profesional

Resumen


Actualmente, el fútbol es un deporte de alta competencia a nivel mundial y es por eso que diversas áreas del conocimiento trabajan con equipos deportivos alrededor del mundo. Los equipos deportivos, están conformados por diversos profesionales que buscan que el deportista esté a su máximo nivel. Por ejemplo, el equipo médico es vital en procesos de prevención y recuperación de jugadores profesionales de fútbol. Por tal motivo, el objetivo de este artículo es realizar un estudio cuasi-experimental utilizando un protocolo de prevención de lesiones, programa de recuperación y manejo de hidratación con el fin de observar índices estadísticos en relación a la morbilidad y producción del servicio médico de un equipo profesional de fútbol.
