Study of expectations, perceptions, and satisfaction with the experience of interdisciplinary work among university students: a pilot experience

Abstract

The objective is to promote a pilot study on an interdisciplinary learning experience at the University of Almeria. The sample used was 48 students from two Faculties (Psychology and Social Work) who voluntarily participated in this essay. An instrument was applied before the teaching session (to know their expectations regarding interdisciplinary team work) and after the teaching session (to know their perception and their degree of satisfaction), these tools were elaborated “ad hoc”. The results demonstrate the degree of satisfaction that students have with this experience, the positive assessment that the students make regarding the implication that this activity has for their academic training and also for their professional future.
