Abstract

This research measures the Quality of Life of the beneficiaries of the Housing Support and Supervised Housing services of the Mater Organization according to their perception and that of the professionals who attend them. For this purpose, a quantitative methodology was chosen, implementing the INICO-FEAPS multidimensional
Quality of Life scale (8 dimensions), to a total sample of 30 people (17 women and 13 men). Statistical analyses (validity and reliability test, descriptive comparative analyses and paired samples t-tests) revealed that professionals perceive a higher Quality of Life than the beneficiaries themselves of the Supervised Housing and Housing Support services, and that the Emotional Well-being dimension is the most affected in both services. This leads us to rethink the intervention models from Social Work and whether the services are truly focused on people’s needs.
