Abstract

This communication to Greencities & Sustainability 2015 is proposed as a scheme of ideas and articulated proposals on the new relationship between energy and the city, following the guidelines of the local schedule 21, the Urban Schedule of Malaga, the European Strategy 2020 and the Objectives of the Millennium of the UN, working with the basic arguments, the information and the bibliography necessary to focus the positions that are in favor of the hypothesis that the urban planning of the 21st century has radically changed its challenges and objectives.  As a prelude to the World Conference United Nations Conference on Housing and sustainable urban development Habitat III in Quito in October 2016, the Greencities & Sustainability Forum, in October 2015, is a platform for action and dissemination to launch the Urban Schedule of Malaga and propose changes in the guidelines and directions of urban planning in Spain.
