This work is structured in two parts. The first of them aims to study the current situation regarding territorial and urban plans, analyzing the distinction between both types of planning, to then analyze the specific planning instruments, both territorial and urban, that derive from the current regulation in Cataluña, as well as the dissemination or advertising systems regarding them. The second analyzes the future prospects regarding territorial and urban plans. All of this is due to the planning system devised by Professor BALLBÉ in the 1956 Land Law, a pioneer in his time.
