Abstract

A catalogue of Spanish freshwater algae belonging to the Classes listed below and found up to July 1981 is given. The Classes are the following (taza in brackets): Craspedo- phyceae (3), Cryptophyceae (20), Chrysophyceae (87), Dinophyceae (69), Euglenophyceae (116), Haptophyceae (9), Phaeophyceae (1), Rhodophyceae (20), Xanthophyceae (106).
