Abstract

Research of the connections between the approach the restoration of monuments is planned with and the one shown in the building of the new architecture during the years after the Spanish Civil War. Both of them share in the revival and traditionalist phenomenon, a common approach aimed to promote certain ideological values according to the ruling political regime, which can be perceived, in our opinion, in the nature of some of the most remarkable actions executed at the time in Eastern Andalusia, on the monumental fields as well as on the so called popular architecture.
