Abstract

Intentions of Francisco Franco's Goverment for promoting a favorable image between cítizens, leads his propaganda service to a systematic multiplication and manipulation of symbols and icons. This fact was carried out by a merciless criticism to the ideological enemy, who was marked as one of the factors of the serious spiritual, economical and polítical situation that was lived in Spain. This article studies also the iconographical analisys and articulation of one of the most representative mass media, such as political poster in the local space.
