Abstract

From Prehistorics times to our days, wine is considered one of these elements closely joined to human being. At Baroque, this kind of drink was also everyday an singular accompanier for several classes, according to social likings and the preeminence of luxury and magnificent public rejoicings. Making an exception of countries and religions, this article studies sorne iconographical stereotypes dedicated not only wine but also situations, men and women subjected by drunkenness.
