Abstract

Adam Fuss’ artistic photography explores the expressive possibilities of photography without camera (photograms and daguerreotype). Its subjects combine abstraction and realism, life and death, instantaneousness and movement, solidity and evanescence. This work reviews Fuss’ artwork, analyzes his contribution to the art of photography and explores influences and precedents, as well as the author’s thoughts.
