This article presents several historic documents about life and work of tour craftsmen from Seville, who got at their time an eminent position into architectural, aesthetic and morphological development of the baroque altarpieces in Andalusia. lnformation given by specific documentation about them and their works shows the evolution felt in the retables and their artistic conception along XVIII century.
