Abstract:
Ortega tried to understand the philosophical problems to an unusually deep level, which sets up the “nivel de radicalismo” of his philosophy. In our opinion, this aforementioned stratum rests on a very intense ontological and epistemological pragmatist model that became clear during his argument with Descartes, one of the most important of Ortega’s philosophical “adversaries”.
