El sentido de la vida en personas diagnosticadas con trastorno de la personalidad: una revisión sistemática

Experimentar que la propia vida tiene sentido es una motivación humana fundamental. Cuando no se logra, se puede experimentar vacío existencial, o falta de experiencia de sentido de la vida (SV), que podría manifestarse a través de sintomatología clínica. El vacío existencial se ha relacionado con trastornos como la depresión, la adicción a sustancias y el TLP. El objetivo de esta revisión sistemática fue analizar la relación entre los trastornos de personalidad (TP) y el SV. Siguiendo el método PRISMA, se seleccionaron nueve trabajos sobre el SV en personas diagnosticadas con TP. Los resultados mostraron una relación significativa entre esta entidad nosológica y un bajo SV. Se sugiere profundizar en el estudio sobre el papel transdiagnóstico del SV en los TP, su relación con el trauma y el apego, así como sobre la eficacia de la logoterapia y otras psicoterapias que incluyen elementos logoterapéuticos en el tratamiento de los distintos TP y trastornos con un fuerte componente de frustración existencial.
