Abstract

This paper deals with the strategic resource of types as signs of Corporate Visual Identity, and therefore, as actors taking part in the brand phenomenon. A type is a sign created by human activity and, at the same time, it can also be a strategic element favouring the Corporate Visual Identity. This paper is part of an ongoing PhD Thesis on Design which aims at exploring the type signification capacity as an element of the Corporate Visual Identity system.
