New Proposal of Emotional Education In the Key of Integration and in the Service of Growth

The educational positions assumed are debtors of previous positions that do not belong to the educational field. In the field of emotional education, proposals for intervention have been formulated without a detailed, interdisciplinary study. In the present study, we review the antecedents that support the current dominant proposal of emotional education called ‘emotional regulation’. Our study allows us to propose a more complete alternative that we introduce here and we call ‘emotional integration in the service of growth’. For this purpose the philosophical, neuroscientific and psychological transformation that supports the various proposals is reviewed. A logical correspondence is discovered, which as a guiding thread cross the various disciplines. Thus, who supports certain philosophical, neuroscientific and psychological positions is normal to end in a proposal of concrete emotional education and not another. Finally, initial studies of educational intervention are offered that support the appropriateness of the new proposal
