Errata, Corrections and Retractions

This journal is committed to maintaining the validity, accuracy and immutability of the manuscripts and documents published in its pages. However, in extraordinary circumstances, a published text may require modifications, a formal retraction, or, in extreme cases, its removal. These decisions will be made after a thorough analysis by the editorial committee, in coordination with the institutional support team and under the guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), thus ensuring the utmost legitimacy and transparency of the process.

To address such eventualities, scientific communication protocols include various corrective mechanisms, which are applied according to the nature, severity, and impact of the identified inconsistency. These procedures are implemented through errata notices, correction notes, retractions, or removal of the material, always with the primary goal of safeguarding the transparency and integrity of the academic body of work.

Informed Consent for Publication
Authors assume the legal and ethical responsibility to safeguard the right to privacy of research participants. Consequently, the identity of individuals must be protected both in the text and in any accompanying images, applying the necessary anonymization protocols to safeguard personal data. It is mandatory to remove any feature or indicator that could identify or track the study participants.

If the research requires the inclusion of confidential data, histories, or images that could compromise the privacy of third parties, the corresponding signed informed consent document must be attached.

If, after the article's publication, sensitive information is discovered lacking the necessary express authorization, the manuscript will be temporarily removed from the publishing platform until the omission is formally rectified by the responsible parties.
