Abstract

If we want to know about the mechanisms that rule the translation process in depth, it is important to pay attention not only to what translated texts «tell» us but to what their translators can teach us. Their experiences and reflection are capital to understand the different ways to face a translation assignment and to read the text to be translated. In the present article we reflect on the nature of literary translation from a personal and practical point of view
