Abstract

In the epic for freedom of the Americas highlighted two characters who cross the historical events of those lands: Bernardo de Galvez and Francisco de Miranda, who fight for the liberation of the strategic port of Pensacola (Florida), held by British forces. This article is an approach to life of both. The first hero in American Northlands, the second a native of Caracas, son of canarios, which prompted the release of the Spanish America Spanish Empire.
