Abstract

This article analyzes and reviews the design and manufacturing process of Mojado, a contemporary craft piece that revisits the iconic Spanish botijo and its manufacturing process, starting from the exploration of clay as material, using new techniques and crossing the lines between the handmade and the industrial, the unique and the serial. The project aims to highlight the value of craftsmanship and traditional and sustainable materials in a current context by developing, through design, contemporary craftsmanship piece using an alternative manufacturing method.
