Abstract

Jesús Palomino’s article contextualizes the Palestinian–Israeli conflict after the events of October 7, 2023, analyzing its geopolitical, cultural, and ethical dimensions from a critical and humanist perspective. It explores Ilan Pappé’s notions of a “Global Israel” and a “Global Palestine,” addressing the ongoing media narrative war and the mechanisms of censorship within academic institutions. The text also highlights the involvement of the University of Málaga in fostering reflection on Palestine, as well as the literary and artistic contributions that resist through memory, justice, and the pursuit of self-determination.
