“Cosechando Igualdad” is an intervention project devised to prevent genderbased violence among women young immigrant exwards. The project aims to instil gender awareness and empower these young women through activities and training programs that enhance their personal and professional skills. In these activities, safe support spaces will be created, promoting education on healthy relationships and facilitating community participation. Additionally, the host community will be sensitized, and access to specialized social resources will be provided. Through ongoing evaluation, interventions will be adjusted to ensure a positive and lasting impact, while fostering social support networks among participants and the host community. Through these actions, the project aims to create a safer and more equitable environment for young immigrant women who have aged out of foster care, contributing to their comprehensive development and social integration. This holistic approach ensures that the specific needs of these young women are effectively addressed, promoting their wellbeing and autonomy in the long term.
