The article Prevention of crimes of a sexual nature from social intervention: penitentiary social work, transdisciplinarity and victimizer reflects from Social Work on sexual violence, the underlying factors and the approach that is carried out from the penitentiary environment with the aim of preventing this type of behaviors in the future providing elements of protection to society. A conceptual and statistical contextualization of the phenomenon is carried out, analyzing it from a social perspective. In conclusion, we reflect on the need to intervene from transdisciplinarity with sexual offenders in prison to advance criminal desistance and the promotion of positive and inclusive models of coexistence.
