The purpose of this research is to study single-fachero and single-mother families, asilan seekers in the provincia of Malaga. To do this, the profile they present has been analyzed in order to determine the risk factors of social exclusion and vulnerability.
The variable gender is determinant in the analysis of the profile of single-parent families. There are several causes that determine the approach of the intervention, according to the different profiles that are the object of this study, being essential to carry out an intersectional analysis.
The profile of each of the families and the current social situation they present have been taken into account. As well as, their level of participation in activities that promote their personal autonomy and favor their inclusion process in the society of Malaga.
This study has been carried out through a quantitative methodology, taking into account the social context and interpreting the information collected by the 2nd phase professionals inclued to the “Integral Program for the Reception and Integration of Applicants and Beneficiaries of International Protection” of Red Cross Málaga.
