The aim of this communication is to publicise the project entitled: Protocol of Reception and Accompaniment in Protected Housing Adjudication Processes in the Northern District of Granada, the design and implementation of which is part of the Intercultural Community Process intervention methodology that has been developed in the territory for eleven years and which has continuity with the Andalusian Regional Strategy for Social Cohesion and Inclusion (hereinafter ERACIS).
This district is home to most of the municipality’s public housing stock and, through an assessment of previous experiences in the allocation of public housing shows different levels of success. This project is committed to introducing the group and community intervention component in a reception and support protocol for access to new housing, based on the hypothesis that in order to achieve a higher percentage of inclusion, initial support is necessary, not only at the individual and family level, but also at the group and community level.
