Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the different group intervention programmes that we have been carrying out from social work with families taking care of dependent elderly people.

The study goes deeper into the different types of intervention programmes, describing their methodology and studying the role that social work professionals have in them, with the ultimate goal of observing if there have been changes in our intervention.

During this research, the model that has been taken into account is that of attention focused on the person and to observe if this model has had some influence in the intervention with the families has been selected as one of the objectives of the study.
