Abstract

Abstract: In the Disputationes Metaphysicae XIII, X-XIV Francisco Suarez expounds his opinion about the incorruptibility of the heavens. Particularly, section XI, 13-34 has a fundamentally significance according to one contextual topic: the incipient Copernican revolution and the breakdown of the fundamental Aristotelian theses. Its confutation, located mainly in D.M. XIII, XI, 13, constitutes the cornerstone that will allow Dr. Eximius to continue sustaining an Aristotelian metaphysical-cosmological position.
