Abstract
The present article intends to analyse theoretically the fears and phobias dealt with in the professional paradox theory. In fact, our time is witnessing the emergence of many more fears and panic episodes which deserve to be approached following the interesting contributions by T. Hobbes in his Leviathan. Hobbes is still one of the scholars who more successfully explained the basis and action of fears on modern societies.
