Abstract

Aging is a complex and high-impact process, closely related to oxidative stress and ROS generation. The role of ROS in aging has been controversial; nevertheless, its influence on this phenomenon is clear. Thus, ROS research is expected to bring new perspectives and solutions to a widespread process which is a risk factor for multiple pathologies.
