Abstract

Artificial selection is a concept that we often associate with Mendel's experiments with pea plants; however, this concept goes beyond plants. Today, activities such as hunting can also act as a mechanism of artificial selection, thus affecting species such as elephants. Therefore, in this short comic, we seek to convey how populations of Loxodonta africana are being affected by artificial selection.
