About the Journal

Eviterna (ISSN: 2530-6014) is a university-based digital publication, research-focused and published annually, (previously semiannual) dedicated to the dissemination and exploration of culture and the arts in the broadest sense. It was created as an open space for freely accessible contributions, offering a platform for recent, small-scale research by anyone interested in sharing their work with the project.

Conceived as an international journal, it originated within the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Málaga (Department of Art History) as an outcome of the Educational Innovation Project PIE15-060. Since its launch in November 2016, it has been published exclusively in digital format, with the mission of communicating current developments and debates in the fields of the Humanities, Art History, and Culture, while providing a dynamic platform for dissemination and critical reflection.

Its contents —articles, reviews, critiques and other scholarly contributions— encompass any historical period and all artistic manifestations or trends relevant to the disciplines within its scope.
