Abstract

In this paper I explain how would we conceive logic if we had taken Antonio Rubio’s logic course in Mexico back in 1577. In short, we would say logic is “a relation of-reason of second intention”. To clarify this characterization I will use the notions of meontology and intentionality that are available in Rubio’s works.
