Abstract

The oblivion of being is the root of some problems within Metaphysics, as the forgetfulness of grace is with respect to Theology. Both aspects of reality coincide when we think on the transcendentals or the doctrine of participation in authors such as Saint Thomas Aquinas. The implications of remembering and keeping on the horizon of thought, both being and grace, can drive the person to value their environment, to value creation (and respect it), to value the other and defend their dignity, and even to value themselves from the truth of their participated being and their spiritual state as a Christian who claims to be a son in the Son by the grace of Baptism. This is educating the gaze to contemplate beauty and live the Christian faith consistently in a world that does not stop before being and in a Christianity that forgets grace.
