Change of direction (COD) ability is a fundamental part of agility that requires train accordingly to the specific needs of each sport, thus, it is necessary that professionals of the area know about the variety of options that can be used to develop it, and how to prescribe them correctly. This systematic review aimed to determine which is the most used training and its effects on the development of COD ability. The Scopus, PubMed, Redalyc and EBSCO databases were searched with the keywords and boolean markers: “training” AND “soccer” AND “change of direction”. 432 articles were found, a total of 17 studies were included in this review. Finally, it was concluded that the most used training isolated or combined with another method is plyometric training.
