Abstract

With this article we would like to highlight that working as a community interpreter is a complex task, which requires specific training in the terminology, culture and techniques used in this context. It is also necessary to know the structure of the place he/she works for, and the beginner must be prepared for the social and personal implications it can entail. The main objective of this study lies on the evaluation of the psychological and communicative difficulties young interpreters have to face when working in health contexts. In this article we try to present a community interpreting training proposal focused on these particular difficulties
