Long-term sickness absence and return to work: from improvisation to planning

An analysis of more than a hundred collective agreements up to mid-2024 (the deadline set by REGCON for locating the texts in which they are registered) gives an eloquent picture of the current situation of workers who are forced to take a long break from work for health reasons. In contrast to the lack of concern for the problem, there is a variable range of isolated measures, which in some cases already take the form of a more or less complete plan, as is the case, for example, with those who have suffered from cancer.
