Data about the subspontaneous iberian pterydophyte flora: Cyrtomium falcatum (Dryopteridaceae), and Nephrolepis cordifolia (Nephrolepidaceae)

Abstract

Two second records of naturalized ferns from the Iberian Peninsula are provided. The first is new to the flora of the Valencian Community, and the second is new to the province of Alicante. Both are the result of a study conducted on the flora of the municipality of Xábia (Alicante). Each taxon is accompanied by the collection location, with the corresponding UTM grid, the collection date, collector, and the sheet number under which it is preserved in the Herbarium of the Valencia Botanical Garden (VAL). A brief commentary on its ecology and chorology is also provided.
