Presence of the Linarion pedunculatae alliance in the Galician-Portuguese dune systems

The association Violo henriquesii—Silenetum littoreae includes the terophytic communities of the dunes from Galaico—Portuguese sector. This sintaxon is included in the alliance Linarion pedunculatae. The names Ononido variegatae— Linarietum pedunculatae and Linarion pedunculatae are valid.
