Abstract

Hypericum perforatum L. is a perennial herbaceous plant with a wide distribution in Europe, Western Asia, North Africa, and North America. More than 400 species of plants belonging to the Hypericum genus have been described, which in turn belongs to the Clusiaceae family (also called Hypericaceae).
