Abstract

A series of articles begins that will present a brief review of the history of Ecology and its peculiarities as a science, in the form of a personal commentary on a not very long historical journey. Undoubtedly, I will leave many loose ends, but those that I manage to tie will leave the reader with a more or less clear idea, I hope that it is enjoyable, of my way of understanding it. And also, I suppose, it will constitute a good clue to know what the student of Environmental Sciences or Biology faces who has not yet come across it
