Abstract

"One would have to ask oneself when man begins to be aware of the damage he causes to natural systems. In Europe, as early as the 14th century, the massive felling and burning of forests as a source of energy resources or space (agricultural or livestock land) led to the need for measures to protect and conserve the environment.
