Abstract

It is the process by which carbon dioxide and other analogous gases heat up the Earth’s climate. It is based on the property of absorbing infrared radiation, leading to a natural and persistent warming of the lower atmospheric layers. This phenomenon results in the climatic conditions we know as the ‘greenhouse effect.’
