Abstract

This article is based on the principle of Expressionism being an embracement of Mo- dernism by Central Europe. We will analyze the case of Poland in two specic groups: Rebellion, in Poznan?, and e Polish Expressionists, in Cracow, from 1917 to 1922. We examine their history, exhibitions, pictures and their program and connexions to give a more complete vision about Ex- pressionism in Central Europe. e aim is to provide a more exhaustive and complete view of the geographical, artistic and cultural complexity of Expressionism.
