Abstract

The existent duality in the italian architectural restauration context, in relation to the architecture restoration education between the Scuola di Applicazione per gli Ingegneri (University College of Engineers) and the Istituto di Belle Arti (Art Institute) was the begining of the rules of the urban restauration theory.
