Editorial Team
Governance
In alignment with principles of transparency and academic rigor, the journal establishes an editorial structure composed of bodies with clearly defined functions. The Editor-in-Chief is responsible for overall coordination and strategic decision-making, supported by the Deputy Editor-in-Chief, who may assume delegated responsibilities. The Managing Editor oversees administrative and operational tasks, while the editorial team supervises the peer review process and liaises with authors and reviewers. The Scientific Committee, which serves in an advisory capacity, is composed of nationally and internationally recognized experts. The journal also engages specific collaborators as needed for tasks such as language editing or illustration.
The selection of editorial team members is based on criteria of academic excellence, experience in editorial management and scientific evaluation, and a strong commitment to the journal’s core values of equity, inclusion, and quality. Institutional, geographic, and gender balance is actively pursued across all editorial bodies.
The Editor-in-Chief is nominated and ratified in accordance with the journal’s internal regulations. Other roles, including Deputy Editor-in-Chief, Managing Editor, and Editors, are filled by direct invitation from the Editor-in-Chief, with the endorsement of the editorial team. Members of the Scientific Committee are invited based on their academic distinction and international standing.
The terms for the Editor-in-Chief and Deputy Editor-in-Chief are four years, renewable once. Editorial and administrative roles are maintained through mutual agreement and positive performance evaluation. The composition of the Scientific Committee is reviewed periodically and may be renewed or expanded as needed.
The current composition of the editorial team is permanently available on the journal’s official website. Any changes to the structure or procedures will be communicated in the “Editorial Policy” section.
