Abstract

The Old Hospital of Charity, set up from the foundation of a brotherhood in 1443, houses a partially unknown collection of wood work. The octagonal framework of the stairs with apeinazado loop is dated in 1562, whereas other rooms are covered with alfarjes, ceilings of brick by board with stencil motifs from the last gothic –one of the scarce which has reached the present time in the province of Córdoba- and coffered ceilings.
