Some renowned scholars have warned against the abusive use of the terms baroque and scenography as synonyms. However, although this is a correct observation, Theatre and its ways exceeded their specifi c borders to have signifi cant ef fects on other areas of everyday life and Art in that period, fi nding in the sacred places a fertile ground to cultivate its treacherous seed
