Abstract

This work divided in two parts, expect to analyze the mystic meaning with was built and decorate in the XVIII th. the Vélez-Málaga´s convent-church carmelitas nuns of Jesus, Mary and Joseph. Attend especially to the iconographic program propose by means of mural paints, it propose a speech about the double spirit of St. Elias prophet, example of religious life and devout that combine the active and contemplative experience, deploy in the all temple a complete baroque artifice of dif ferent arts integration.
