Abstract

Journey is a conspicuous subject in XIX century culture. Several real itineraries are between posibilities for the traveller clase to fancied, nocturnal and initiating courses assigned by terror and despair. From underworlds to heaven, through passage of death, the traveller goes over prisons and caves, hells and graves, in a way which leads him to the beyond.
