Abstract

Emblem books is a literary genre product of a very specific age and mentality which offer us very valuable information about different matters, amongst them, iconography, used to symbolize the prevailing ideas on images. They introduce us, for its eminently didactic intention, into the ideas about the education and the teacher, always through this synthesis between literature and plastic arts.
