El equilibrio entre la forma, el contenido y la función en el arte nuevo: Apuntes sobre la teoría artística y estética en Ramón Gómez de la Serna

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to show the implication of Ramón Gómez de la Serna in the critical discussion about modern art conformation. These texts, with a strong theoretical, artistic and aesthetical load, give a more complicated and richer vision -because of their condition of studio writing- than others considered to be canonical to the approximation to avant-garde phenomenon. Furtherwore, we must revalue a work which, since 1909, provides the current vision inherited by lastest generations from the last reviews made during the first half of the 2011 century, that is to say, a work where shape, contents and function are perfectly balanced.
